  • Depending on where you are flying from, you may be required to complete a Digital Registration on Entry form

The following passengers will be permitted to enter Germany:

  • Nationals of EEA Member States and Switzerland
  • British nationals
  • Passengers arriving from Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Republic of Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland or the UK
  • Immediate family members of Nationals of EEA Member States and Switzerland (must provide evidence)
  • Immediate family members of residents of Germany (must provide evidence)
  • Passengers with a resident permit issued by EEA Member State or Switzerland
  • Passengers with a visa issued by Germany after 17 March 2020
  • Residents of Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand and Uruguay (must have been a resident for six months)
  • Military personnel
  • Merchant seamen
  • Passengers travelling as students if they cannot complete their studies outside of Germany
  • Unmarried partners of residents of Germany (must have a written invitation and a copy of the identity document for the resident in Germany, as well as a declaration and proof of their relationship)
