Testing and entry requirements

  • Take a COVID-19 PCR test no more than 72 hours before your flight departure time
  • All guests require a visa including Thai nationals 
  • Alternate State Quarantine (ASQ) booking mandatory 
  • See below for mandatory documents required before you fly

To find out if you are able to enter Thailand, and the documents you will require if you wish to travel as a tourist, please refer to the table below. All non-Thai nationals will need a visa to enter Thailand, including guests travelling from visa-free countries. 

It is mandatory to have a COVID-19 PCR test before you fly with Etihad Airways. All guests will require a PCR test to enter Thailand, including children. This does not apply to children under the age of 12 who are Thai nationals.

You will be required to quarantine for 14 days on arrival to Thailand, medical screening is in place.

Entry criteria by category of traveller

You will only be able to enter Thailand If you meet the criteria within one of the following passenger groups and have all the required documents. 

You will need to show printed copies of these documents upon check-in at the airport and to any relevant officials throughout your journey.
