To find out if you are able to enter Thailand, and the documents you will require if you wish to travel as a tourist, please refer to the table below. All non-Thai nationals will need a visa to enter Thailand, including guests travelling from visa-free countries.

It is mandatory to have a COVID-19 PCR test before you fly with Etihad Airways. All guests will require a PCR test to enter Thailand, including children. This does not apply to children under the age of 12 who are Thai nationals.

You will be required to quarantine for 14 days on arrival to Thailand, medical screening is in place.

- Apply for your Certificate of Entry (COE) online at coethailand.mfa.go.th. The COE application can take up to three working days to process.
- Once you receive your pre-approval, move to Step 2.
- When you receive your COE pre-approval, you must complete your COE documents submission within 15 days.

- Book your flight. *Note: please check your eligibility to enter Thailand before you book your flight.
- You must also book Alternative State Quarantine (ASQ) and insurance with coverage for COVID-19 up to at least USD 100,000. The insurance policy must have the passenger name and the validity of the insurance must cover the whole duration of stay in Thailand. Etihad global COVID-19 wellness cover is not currently accepted and separate cover will need to be purchased. Cover is also available from the Thai General Insurance Association at covid19.tgia.org.
- Insurance is not required for Thai nationals.
- Thai Nationals who do not have a self-funded ASQ booking will not be eligible for travel and must coordinate with the Thai Embassy for repatriation flights.
- You can book ASQ directly with the hotels or packages approved by the Ministry of Public Health - please click on the relevant page link to show a list of approved accommodation in English.

- Confirm your application for your Certificate of Entry (COE) by returning to coethailand.mfa.go.th to upload evidence of your ASQ booking, flight booking and insurance.
- Final COE approval can take up to three working days.
- *The flight number and departure date on your COE must match your actual flight or you will not be able to fly. If your flight changes for any reason you will need a new COE.
- Print your approved COE, sign it and print copies of your required documents.

- Once you have your approved COE, obtain a negative COVID-19 PCR test result issued in English no more than 72 hours before your flight departure at any government accredited medical facility and a Fit to Fly medical certificate. These are two separate documents.
- A Fit to Fly certificate can be issued by any accredited general practitioner or certified doctor. This certificate must state the passenger name and certify that the passenger is fit and healthy for travel.
- Check you have printed copies of all your documents and travel to the airport.

You will only be able to enter Thailand If you meet the criteria within one of the following passenger groups and have all the required documents.
