Tax in India

Corporate travel booking

If you require a GST invoice for a corporate travel booking made directly with Etihad Airways, please send an email to contactcentre@etihad.ae within 48 hours of booking. The business must be registered for Goods and Service Tax (GST) in India.

Please include the following information:

  • Booking reference
  • Company full name
  • Company’s Indian GST Identification Number (GSTIN)
  • Company address in India (including State)
  • Company email address to which we should issue the Tax Invoice
  • Company telephone number for your invoice processing team

 

We'll email a GST invoice to the email address provided.

By emailing us, you are confirming that the GST invoice is being requested for travel and related expenses legitimately incurred by the entity whose GST details you provide.

By submitting your request, the applicant and the entity mentioned in the details indemnify Etihad Airways from all costs incurred by us in the event that the details provided for issuance of the GST invoice are found to be incomplete or incorrect.

Note: If you are making a corporate travel booking through any channel other than with Etihad Airways directly, please contact your travel agency and advise them to update the above information within 48 hours from the date of the transaction.

GST Identification Numbers

The Government of India implemented Goods & Services Tax in India with effect from 1 July 2017.

Under the Indian GST regime, businesses operating in India will obtain a “GST Identification Number” (GSTIN) in each Indian State (and Union Territory) concerned.

Etihad Airways has obtained GSTINs in the Indian States where it operates. The table below contains State-wise information for Etihad Airways showing the GSTIN and address locations. This information will be needed by our suppliers, agents, and corporate clients in India. We request all our suppliers based in India to raise accurate invoices containing the correct particulars including the correct Etihad Airways address and GSTIN details.
