On board this ride you’ll twist and turn past the colourful slides and dodge the spray of water from Cannon Point below. Yas Waterworld has a number of shops for you to check out. Make your way to Sultan & Sons where you’ll find all your water park essentials. It’s perfect if you fancy some new swimwear. The onsite souk is your go-to spot for renting lockers and towels, and also sells souvenirs, sweets and photos. Alternatively, Tawasha Pearl Shop offers you the chance to turn your own oyster pearls into jewellery for a special keepsake.
Yas Waterworld’s delicious dining options help you to refuel after action-packed adventures. At Dana’s Diner, watch the surfers on Bubbles Barrel while you enjoy burgers and BBQ wings. Chubby’s Kitchen serves up great family-friendly feasts with everything from noodles and daal to fried chicken and pizza. Tuck into your lunch here while the rollercoaster rockets pass by. There are great refreshment choices throughout the park – including frozen lemonades and amazing Arabic coffee.

Driving to the water park is pretty straightforward from all corners of Abu Dhabi.
It takes about 20 minutes to drive from Saadiyat Island to Yas Waterworld. Follow the E12 Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Highway across Saadiyat Island. Enter Yas Island, taking the exit onto Al Athari Street and turn right onto Yas Dr Street. Continue past Warner Bros. World™ Abu Dhabi to Yas Waterworld.
Follow the Corniche Road towards Al Falah Road. Join the Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Highway (E12) and head over Saadiyat Island, onto Yas Island. It takes about 30 minutes to reach Yas Waterworld from the Corniche.
The journey from the airport to Yas Waterworld takes 15 minutes. Head east on Al Khaleej Al Arabi Street, following signs for Yas Island. Continue along Yas Dr Street until you arrive at Yas Waterworld.
Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi has plenty of free car parking spaces available. There’s also a Valet Parking service.
The onsite mothers lounge is fully equipped for mother and baby’s use and privacy.
Lockers and towels are available to rent from Qaryat Al Jewena Souk. You’ll find the changing rooms here too.
Head to one of the guest services counters in the park where you can hire a wheelchair or stroller if you need one.
Yas Waterworld is open Wednesday to Sunday from 10am to 6pm. It is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Opening hours can change depending on the season, so we’d recommend checking the website for the latest updates.
No. Tickets for Yas Waterworld can only be purchased in advance online. You can book daily admission tickets through Etihad or using the official site. Annual passes are also available.
Your ticket to Yas Waterworld grants you access to all of the rides and slides, while the Underwater VR Experience is available at an extra cost. You can also upgrade your day out with the Al Waha cabanas to enjoy the VIP experience.
There’s a lot to see and do at Yas Waterworld so be sure to allow yourself at least a full morning or afternoon to enjoy the rides and attractions. There’s certainly enough to do to warrant a full day of fun for you and your family, should your schedule allow.
