Being able to tackle two record-breaking challenges – the tallest indoor artificial climbing wall and the widest indoor skydiving wind tunnel.
This skydiving chamber is the world’s tallest, with a drop of 104 feet (32 metres) and a width of 32 feet (10 metres) making it twice the size of most standard chambers.
Whether you’re a first-timer or a veteran, you’ll run through safety procedures with your flight instructor before donning your equipment and preparing to fly. A total of 16 powerful fans keep you aloft, giving you time to flex your flying skills and learn new techniques.
The Summyt™ is the ultimate challenge and a great test for even the most experienced of climbers. This is 138 feet (43 metres) high, making it the world’s tallest indoor climbing wall (as well as the first indoor multi-pitch wall). There are 13 different routes to the top, meaning climbers will find new challenges every time they visit. It’s also a great way to burn plenty of calories too.
CLYMB™ is keen to help everyone to find their own level and to offer a route for progression. The Boulder is perfect for beginners, a wide-but-short climb that leads on to ‘The Beginner’, a slightly more challenging 18-foot (six metre) ascent.
‘The Intermediate’ is a 33 foot (10 metre) climb and ‘The Advanced’ takes you up to 72 feet (22 metres). After that lies The Summyt™ - the ultimate test to aim for.
One of the things that makes CLYMB™ such a great family attraction is that it even allows toddlers to have a go at skydiving and climbing. The skydiving flight chamber allows children as young as three to participate, while the lower limit for climbing is four years old.
There are suits and equipment specially tailored for the little ones, while parents can accompany their children or, if not flying or climbing themselves, can watch from nearby.
CLYMB™ has a dedicated ladies night every Wednesday from 5.30pm to 9.00pm. It’s the perfect opportunity for groups of female friends or colleagues to experience the thrills and excitement of the CLYMB™ experience with all-female staff and complete privacy.
Different discount packages are available, covering everything from taster sessions to combos. Male children under eight years of age are able to accompany their mums to these sessions too.
CLYMB™ is based at Yas Island, home to many of Abu Dhabi’s premier entertainment attractions. It’s sited at Yas Mall – where you can park – and is handy for shopping, cinema and other must-see attractions including Yas Waterworld and Warner Bros. World™ Abu Dhabi.
It’s about a 30-minute drive from the Corniche to CLYMB™. From the Corniche Road, take the Al Falah Rd then join Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Highway E12. You’ll drive over Saadiyat Island and onto Yas Island.
The journey from Abu Dhabi International Airport will take about 15 minutes. Follow signs for Yas Island or Yas Mall, which will take you along Al Khaleej Al Arabi Street, Al ‘Ishoush Street and Yas Dr Street. You’ll pass Yas Marina Circuit on your right as you make your way to Yas Mall.
Drive along Al Falah Rd, then take the E12 highway for Saadiyat Island in the direction of Yas Island. Follow the exit for Yas Island and drive on to Yas Mall. It’s approximately a 20-minute journey.
Visitors are able to use the extensive, secure parking facilities at Yas Mall. All parking here is free of charge.
There are on-site changing rooms complete with lockers for visitors to use.
There are two cafes available for refreshments on site. Altitude Café on level four has the best views of the skydiving, while Base Camp on reception level has great vantage points for The Summyt™.
Sportswear is the best attire for indoor skydiving. Clymb™ Abu Dhabi will provide other equipment like a flight suit and goggles.
Tickets must be purchased online in advance. This is to ensure that the capacity isn’t exceeded and that everyone gets plenty of time to climb, freefall or both, without waiting in queues.
All the essential equipment is provided by CLYMB™. This includes wind tunnel suits and harnesses. All equipment undergoes sanitisation and safety checks.
Yes. Combo tickets are available which include access to three climbing walls and two flights at the skydiving experience. This ticket also includes supervision by a qualified instructor and all the necessary flying and climbing safety equipment.
There are a wide range of packages and passes available, including the Combo ticket and passes that range from half a day to ten days and three months. There’s a dedicated offer for beginner climbers, while you can also take advantage of a family and friends offer, which includes a discount. Skydiving packages also range from beginners to pro.
