If you’re travelling to a destination with COVID-19 requirements, we recommend that you get Verified to Fly before you go. Check etihad.com/destinationguide to see whether you need to get Verified to Fly, then upload your documents from 72 hours before your flight. We’ll verify your COVID-19 documents so you can arrive at the airport with total peace of mind.
Verified to Fly is not available if you’re travelling with one of our partner airlines.
We’re reviewing documents as quickly as possible, and will prioritise submissions based on your flight departure time. If you haven’t been Verified to Fly in time for your flight, please make your way to the airport as usual.

Verified to Fly is available when you travel on any Etihad Airways flight worldwide, excluding flights to China.
Simply enter your flight details above to check the COVID-19 requirements for you trip, then return here from 72 hours before you fly to upload your documents.
When you’ve been Verified to Fly, you’ll be set to go, subject to presenting a valid passport and visa at check-in.
With all COVID-19 checks out of the way, you can fast track straight to our Verified to Fly desks when you arrive at the airport.

Here are the steps you need to take to get Verified to Fly:
You can check the COVID-19 requirements for your destination by entering your flight details above at etihad.com/manage. There’s no need to upload your passport or visa, as these will be checked when you arrive at the airport.
Remember, it’s your responsibility to make sure that you meet all visa and entry requirements for your destination – you may be denied boarding at the airport otherwise, even if you’ve been Verified to Fly
You can check the COVID-19 requirements for your destination from seven days before your trip.
You can upload your documents from 72 to two hours before your flight.
Our team will start reviewing your documents as soon as possible, and we’ll prioritise documents based on your flight departure time. You can also check your Verified to Fly status at any time by entering your flight details above.
If you have not been Verified to Fly in time for your flight, please make your way to the airport as usual. Our team will be happy to review your documents at check-in.
The quickest and simplest way to check your Verified to Fly status is to visit Manage my booking. We’ll also send you an email as soon you’ve been Verified to Fly.
If your flight is delayed or cancelled, or there is a last-minute change in requirements, your Verified to Fly status may change, and you may be required to resubmit your documents.
If your status shows as “Not Verified”, we may not have checked your documents yet, or something you submitted may not have been approved.
Please make your way to the airport and make sure you have the required documents with you.
Our check-in agents will review your documents and you will be cleared to fly subject to your documents, passport and visa being valid.
No, Verified to Fly is a complimentary service.
It’s not mandatory to use our Verified to Fly service, though it is highly recommended to help make checking in at the airport quicker and smoother. It also means that you have one less thing to think about before you fly, making preparing for your trip simple.
If your flight has been delayed or cancelled, you may be required to resubmit your documents in order to be Verified to Fly for your new flight.
