To join our student programme, you have to become an Etihad Guest member first, before signing up and uploading your documents here.
You need to provide a valid Student ID from an accredited school or university of higher education, or an official acceptance letter in English.
Once our team receives all your documents, they will go through them and verify that all your information is accurate. Afterwards, they’ll either reach out for further details or you’ll receive a welcome email from us.
Please do not try to sign up multiple times. You only need to sign up one time. If you create duplicates, it will delay the verification process and prevent you from accessing our services.
If you’re a full-time international student aged between 18 and 32 years old, then you can join our student programme and enjoy discounts on flights to your country or study, or flights back to your home country.
If you’re an international student in any of these countries, then you can apply to join our programme:
Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Belgium, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Malaysia, Maldives, Netherlands, Oman, Pakistan, Philippines, Portugal, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Seychelles, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Tanzania, Thailand, Turkey, UAE and UK.
We aren’t accepting submissions at this time, but we may expand our list of eligible countries in the future, so keep an eye out for your country!
If your verification process is successful, you’ll receive an email within five working days welcoming you to our student programme.
If you haven’t received a confirmation email after five working days, please contact us for an update on your status at eservices@etihad.ae.
If you’re an Etihad Guest member, log out of your Etihad Guest account and try again. If you’re still not able to upload your documents, please email eservices@etihad.ae.
It's possible that your verification didn't go through because the documents you submitted didn't meet our requirements.
Make sure your documents were issued within the last three months and clearly shows your first and last name, the name of your university and matches the information you provided in the student verification form.
You can save up to 10% off Economy and up to 5% off Business tickets when you book Etihad flights to your country or study, or flights back to your home country.
You can enjoy your benefits for 12 months from the date of your membership’s activation.
No, the discounted fares don’t apply for multi-city bookings. You can book multi-city tickets on Etihad.com, but your discount will not be applied.
You can book and fly with us as many times as you’d like between 1 June 2023 and 30 June 2024. But remember, the student discount is only available on flights to your country of study, or flights back to your home country.
You can book your tickets anytime throughout the year. Some fare types are excluded from the offer. Please check our terms and conditions for full details.
You can reschedule your flight through Manage my booking. Applicable charges or fare difference may be applied.
There is no specific limit on the number of times you can make changes to your booking, however fees may apply depending on the fare you’ve purchased. You can make changes to your booking at Manage my booking.
Please check your ticket to see your allocated baggage allowance. If you would like to add extra baggage, you can pay to do so.

No. The flight discount will only apply for 1 single verified student in a booking. The discount will not apply if multiple guests are travelling together in the same booking. For additional guests travelling, please create separate bookings.
